Why MERLIER begins with one piece

Before building a collection, we are building the piece that must justify the house.

A house is not proven by a range. It is proven by one object that holds up when you look at it closely: the fall of the shoulder, the weight of the fabric, a collar drawn to keep its shape over repeated wear.

So SYSTEM 01 opens with a single piece. T-001 / ORIGIN is in development. The pattern, the collar and the surface are being worked through prototypes, and each decision that survives will be recorded here — including the ones that do not.
